The statistical aspects of radioactive counting are discussed vith reference to*n1. "stiraation of the accuracy of counting rate determinations.n2. Description of counting procedures which will minimize errors due to the random variations in the radioactive disintegration rate.nTables and graphs have been prepared as aids _to the calcualtionnof the magnitude of these varintions and are included in the report.
