The organizer of the School was Dr. J. D. Lemonade, assisted by Prof. N. L. Tsinsadze, both of the Georgian Institute of Physics, Tbilisi. The Secretary was Dr. D. K. Alumina, of the Leedey Institute, Moscow.nThe agenda was flexible, being made up on a day-to-day basis. It scarcely resembled the provisional program sent out with the invitations. Included in the 50 lectures were a large number by top-ranking Soviet and foreign scientists. Following are some highlights.
