THE RADIONUCLIDE CONCENTRATIONS AND BOTANICAL COMPOSITION OF THE DIET OF CATTLE GRAZING THE AREA 18 RANGE OF THE NEVADA TEST SITE, 1966-1970

摘要

The radionuclide content and botanical composition of the diet of the beef animals grazing on the Area 18 range of the Nevada Test Site was determined by analyzing rumen samples collected from festinated steers. The radionuclide concentrations were generally low with periodic increases in individual isotope levels which could be traced to a specific contaminating event.
