摘要

The yields of positive and negative particles resulting from the collision of 1.05GeV/nucleon and 2.1GeV/nucleon protons,deuterons,alpha particles,and 1.05GeV/nucleon carbon nuclei with various targets have been measured. Single particle inclusive cross sections for production of pi exp + ,pi exp - , p, d,exp 3 H,exp 3He,and exp 4He at 2.5exp 0 (lab) were obtained. How the results bear on the concepts of limiting fragmentation and scaling,the structure of the alpha particle and deuteron,and the possibility of ''coherent''production of pions by heavy ions are discussed.
