Calibration Method for Coordinate Measuring Machines. Final Report.

摘要

Masters have been fabricated and procedures have been developed for calibrating both dual-axis and triaxis coordinate measuring machines. Machines can be calibrated,machine measurement capability can be determined,and machine errors can be detected in a fraction of the time now required by existing procedures. Data reduction programs aid in defining the type and source of machine error,in selecting product staging positions to increase data accuracy,and in determining calibration frequency.
