Calculator Controlled Strain Gage Data Acquistion System

摘要

An important aspect of the system design was the decision to utilize a programmable calculator in preference to a minicomputer. Due to the nature of static testing, speed of data input is not an important criteria, so the slower calculator was considered. In this report, which is intended to serve also as a system manual, the hardware will be discussed in one main section and the software programming in another. Operation and testing procedure will be described using a typical test printout of data and procedure sequence.
