STORED ENERGY IN TRANSFORMERS:CALCULATION BY A COMPUTER PROGRAM

A computer program has been written to calculate the stored energy in a transformer. This result easily yields the inductance and leakage reactance of the transformer. The result is estimated to be accurate to better than 5%. The program has been used to calculate the leakage reactance of the main transformer for the LLL neutral beam High Voltage Test Stand.
