Computer design codes for power plant cooling systems have been developed. These are being used with data for the study site in order to test sensitivity to design parameters and to arrive at cost-effective designs for each cooling systems. The cooling systems include once-through systems, cooling ponds, and dry towers. (ERA citation 02:058947)
