Flow diagrams are given for the process flow and utility flow. Material balance figures are tabulated for the main process units: coal gasification, shift unit, acid gas removal, sulfur recovery, methanol synthesis, methanol fuel drying, and methanol purification. Equipment specifications and sketches of vessels and buildings are compiled. A bade case gasifier design and alternative gasifier designs are also included. (ERA citation 04:021932)
