New and Retrofit Solar Hot Water Installations in Florida, January Through June, 1977

The purpose of this project was to ascertain the number of solar hot water installations in new buildings versus the number retrofitted to existing buildings in Florida during the January to June period of 1977. The methodology was to survey all installations started, in progress, or completed during that period.nInstallations included are in the single-family and multi-family residential, commercial, industrial and public sectors. In the single-family residential sector, care has been taken to determine a new or retrofit breakdown, average square footage of collector per installation.
