Research efforts in cold modeling of the fluidized bed boiler are described. These efforts have concentrated on the quality of fluidization and material handling. The areas studied were:air distributor plate design,horizontal tube bundle arrangement,fuel injection,bed renewal,localized fluidization and flyash injection. (ERA citation 03:006534)
