摘要

The texture of Fe-Si transformer sheets at various stages of production were examined utilizing a neutron diffraction method. The orientation distribution functions were calculated providing information on the results of the metallurgical processes such as cold rolling, annealing and recrystallization. A quantitative relation was observed between texture and magnetocrystalline energy in steel sheets, anisotropy of magnetization curves, anisotropy of plastic properties. The applicability of neutron diffraction technique in measurements of distribution of internal stresses in welded materials was demonstrated. The experiments with industrial graphites were performed with three objectives in mind: i) to determine the contents of rhamboedral structure, ii) to study the degree of graphitization, and iii) to found a correlation between texture and anisotropy of electrical resistivity.
