Jet Production in E exp + E exp - Collisions to Order alpha exp 3 and alpha exp 4 and Including QCD Corrections

Cross sections for e exp + e exp - implies jet sub 1 +jet sub 2 +X are calculated to order alpha exp 3 and alpha exp 4 in the electromagnetic couplings and to arbitrary order in alpha /sub s/ in the leading logarithm approximation of QCD. Physically the processes included are emission of hard photons from the incident e exp +- followed by annihilation, photon-photon scattering and deep inelastic scattering on an electron. The experimental separation of the mechanisms on the basis of their different event structures is discussed. (Atomindex citation 10:475588)
