摘要

The structures of the turbulent motion in the lower atmosphere over nonhomogeneous low hill terrain were investigated by integrating numerically high-order closure turbulence transport equations with momentum equations. The finite element numerical technique and model developed could be extended to a non-neutral case. The proposed dynamic formulation of the eddy viscosity coefficient is particularly attractive and can provide a viable alternative approach to study the atmospheric turbulent motion and diffusion over a complicated irregular terrain.
