A Review of the Development of Two-Fluid Models

摘要

This study reviews the rational approach to the development of two-fluid flow equations. The local instantaneous equations are derived clearly and concisely while providing insight into the treatment of the fluid interfaces. The single- and double-time-averaged balance equations are developed, and consideration is given to the difficulties of obtaining a closed yet tractable mathematical model.
