Planning Status Report, Water Resources Appraisals for Hydroelectric Licensing: Cape Fear River Basin, North Carolina - South Carolina

The water resources of the Cape Fear River Basin which covers approximately 8570 square mile in eastern North Carolina and South Carolina are evaluated. Data are presented on existing and potential water resource development, on water uses, e.g., for irrigation, industrial and municipal water supplies, or in thermal power plant cooling systems, and on the status of hydro plant licensing. Past and current planning studies are summarized. The information presented is current as of September 1981. (ERA citation 07:006976)
