This final technical report is divided into three parts: the first part describes our experimental emissivity measurements on molybdenum selective films, the second part deals with our theoretical work on the anomalous far infrared absorption of small metal particles, and the last part with our experimental study of the very large optical absorptivity associated with co-evaporated Mo/Al sub 2 O sub 3 composites.
