Description of a 3-D Reconstruction Algorithm for Diverging X-Ray BEAMS

To accelerate 3-D acquisition devices we want to use a 2-D X-ray detector. For a circular trajectory close to the body, the diverging geometry affects the accuracy of a slice by slice reconstruction. We propose an original algorithm based on the approximation of the 3-D Radon Transform and its inversion. (ERA citation 12:005476)
