In this report we describe our current research under the development of a multi-layer GCM, the design of a physically-based parameterization of clouds, the analysis performed under the Pilot Program for the International Satellite Cloud Climatology Program (ISCCP), and the design of a solar radiation parameterization employing the two-stream and delta-Eddington approximations for multiple scattering. 74 refs., 24 figs., 6 tabs.
