摘要

Energy and particle confinements in a high power neutral beam heated plasma are improved by a lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) in JT-60. A clear correlation between the improvement of the energy confinement time and the decrease of the plasma internal inductance caused by LHCD is observed. The energy confinement time of the profile-controlled plasma by LHCD is close to the ohmic confinement time and does not degrade with the beam absorption power up to 11 MW. (ERA citation 12:044680)
