摘要

A 4 pi spectrometer for the detection of charged particles and photons produced in the SIS/ESR facility is proposed. It consists of a magnetic spectrometer with a central drift chamber, a two-arm photon spectrometer, an array of plastic scintillators, and a system consisting of silicon transmission detectors and gas-filled ionization chambers for the detection of nuclear fragments stopped in the scintillator modules. This system shall be able to measure correlations between photons and charged particles and to discriminate charged particles by tracking in the magnetic field.
