Extended Range Tankless Water Heater: Quarterly Report No. 2, July 20, 1989-October 19, 1989.

This is the second quarterly report for DOE/ERIP Project No. DE-FG01-89CE15407, Extended Range Tankless Water Heater. The objective of this project is to develop an innovative gasfired tankless water heater certified by AGA and ready for commercial sale. Relative to the planned timetable, we remain somewhat behind schedule at this point. According to the original timetable, we should be in the test phase for our engineering prototype. My estimate is that we are one to two months from that point at present. Part of the problem is that financial constraints demand that I continue to work part-time as an adjunct professor at Wichita State University. This takes time which could otherwise be spent on the project. Nevertheless, we continue to make significant progress, and the project is going well in that we have been successful with the tasks we have attempted thus far.
