Inventarisatie telematica-ontwikkelingen Natco (Inventory Telematics Developments Natco)

This report intents to support the NATCO Telematics organization of the Dutch army in setting up their mid-term policy on telematics. It looks into the new developments in this area and describes many communication systems and applications. Leads are given for new policies on four main topics: (1) remote IT management; (2) standardization of hard and software; (3) broadband campus networking facilitating Intranet and Voice over IP; (4) facility sharing and remote offices. Based on the report findings, four proposals for new studies are given: (1) security in message handling systems; (2) broadband campus networking facilitating Intranet and Voice over IP; (3) facility sharing and remote offices; modelling the management organization.
