EFFECTS OF ANTI-SEIZING COMPOUNDS AND LUBRICANTS OH HIGH TEMPERATURE ALLOYS AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES

At the present time, very little information is available concerning the metallurgical effects of antiseizing compounds and lubricants on high temperature alloys at elevated temperatures. This test was conducted to gin some background information in this area.nThe test was conducted in two phases. The first phase subjected seven different alloys to the effects of twenty two different compounds at a temperature of 1000F for ten hours.
