摘要

A numerical model for wave generation in water bodies of arbitrary shape is described. The new model is a variation of a model previously developed by Barnett (1968). Important differences are the numerical technique,slightly modified source terms and the incorporation of a variable equilibrium range of spectral density. Results for ideal,homogeneous generation situations for growth with nondimensional time and nondimensional duration are examined and compared to those from some previous models. (Author)
