Demilitarization of M139and E139 Bomblets at Dugway Proving Ground,Utah (Phase II Demilitarization).

摘要

The disposal of unserviceable M139and E139test residue bomblets was accomplished from April 1975through September 1977. This action encompassed three complete operational projects:assessment and containment of the M139and E139bomblets at Dugway Proving Ground Tower Grid Holding Area and Carr Facility,methodology investigation of caustic neutralization of the GB-filled M139and E139bomblets,and the neutralization/destruction of the chemical munitions.
