摘要

Progress has been made in a number of areas. First, further improvements have been made in the measurement of inelastic electron tunneling spectra. Second, molecular beam scattering has been employed in out continuing investigation of the activated absorption of methane on the reconstructed Ir(110) surface. Finally, a microscopic model has been formulated to explain our measurements of the decomposition of ammonia and its inhibition by hydrogen over a platinum surface.
