Compact Treatment Package for Acoustic Suppression of the Standard U.S. DoD 30 kW Diesel Engine-Driven Generator Set

摘要

This report documents the results of a recent, successful project to develop a retrofit treatment package to reduce the acoustic signature of standard U.S. DOD 30 kW diesel engine-driven generator sets. The treatment resulting from this development reduces the detection distance of such generator sets by a factor of 3 in a compact package.
