A Topical Hazard Evaluation of three DEET products; Airosol, Morflex Blend 1, and a manufactures blend was conducted by this Agency. Compounds were tested for primary skin irritation in rabbits and skin sensitization in guinea pigs. None of the compounds produced sensitization reactions in guinea pigs and very slight to no irritation response in rabbits.
