Status of the Department of Defense Corporate Information Management (CIM)Initiative

The status and near-term and long-range plans for the DoD Corporate InformationManagement (CIM) Initiative are updated in detail. Implementation goals, strategies and structures put into place to pursue these goals are described as are current progress and the timetable for foreseeable events. A synopsis of the tracking of the $1 billion allocated to CIM in the FY 1991 Defense Appropriations Act is included.
