Numerical Flow Simulation for Complete Vehicle Configurations

In the spirit of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research's (AFOSR) initiativeto promote university/industry collaborative research, a collaborative project entitled, Numerical Flow Simulation for Complete Vehicle Configurations has been executed by the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Computational Field Simulation (NSF ERC) at Mississippi State University. The industrial participants include McDonnell Aircraft Company, McDonnell Douglas Research and Development Company and Teledyne Brown Engineering Company. The research and development activities of this effort are focused on the advancement of methodologies to increase the efficiency, quality and productivity of an overall CFD simulation associated with geometrically complex configurations.
