Implementing Knowledge Card to enhance information discovery through bibliographic linked data

This presentation introduces HKUST Library's project on implementing discovery functionality in library catalog in the form of knowledge cards, to enrich users with information about names and subjects mentioned in the works. This is made possible by the co-occurrence of name/subject identifiers in the bibliographic linked data and Wikidata. The result is an interactive website that users can discover information by navigating from one set of entities to another set of related entities.
