Firstly, I'd like to tell you about how the Energy Institute (El) has been performing. Perhaps the most important thing to say is that the El is having a 'good recession'-this is important because the El is a charity with limited resources. Last year I said that the El had beaten its financial targets for 2009. Chief Executive Louise Kingham and her team have done this again for 2010. There aren't many organisations in times of economic stress that can show that level of performance.
