WTI's resurgence is drawing more light sweet Canadian and upper US mid-continent crude south to Cushing, according to Argus Global Markets. Shipments of light sweet MSW crude from Canada and light sweet Bakken crude - mostly from North Dakota, but also from Montana, Saskatchewan and Manitoba - will rise to 93,000 b/d along Enbridge's Illinois-to-Cushing Spearhead pipeline in January 2012. This is up from 58,000 b/d in December and 50,000 b/d in November 2011. And producers are expected to ship more MSW and Bakken crude to Cushing on TransCanada's 591,000 b/d Keystone pipeline in February 2012.
