The use of remotely operated vehicles(ROVs)offshore is nothing new in the oil and gas sector,but increasingly sophisticated tools are now available for pipeline work in deep water.Sonsub,a Saipem subsidiary,is one of the industry's pioneers,developing a series of exclusive technologies for underwater pipeline work,including its seabed pipeline cutting service.
