Cascades Starts Up Greenpac Containerboard Mill

t has been a long time since a greenfield paper mill (other than tissue) started up in the U.S., the last probably being the Pratt mill in Shreveport, LA, in 2009. However, that dry spell came to an end on July 15, 2013, when Cascades, Inc., announced that its Greenpac Mill, LLC, group manufactured its first roll of lightweight lin-erboard at its new, ultra-modern container-board mill in Niagara Falls, NY.
