IN an analyst and fund manager meet the management said turnover of the company will rise to Rs 15000 crore over next five years. It is expecting FY15 to deliver almost 100 percent growth in profitability as fertiliser business has picked up. The presentation made by its company secretary and Additional General Manager V.V. Vachrajani explained how GSFC is first in the country in several respects (I) it set up first integrated multi-product industrial complex in the country. It was the first and one of the largest to manufacture DAP ( Complex fertilizer ) in India. (ii) thefirsttosetupcaprolactum plant in India (iii) the first to establish melamine plant in the country. (iv) First Acrylic producer (v) First to recover argon gas from purge gas (vi) First to utilize indigenous rock phosphate to manufacture phosphoric acid (vii) First to set up effluent treatment facility for removing phosphate and fluoride from liquid effluent (viii) First to adopt the stream naphtha reforming process for manufacture of Ammonia and DCDA process for sulphuric acid.
