Basically,draw texturing can be defined as a process during which an incompletely drawn feeder yarn is drawn to the intended yarn size and textured in a continuous manner.The conventional false twist process using the fully oriented supply yarn is a developed and time-proven process.Large quantity of nylon,polyester,acetate and other fibres have been processed by this method.The term draw texturing implies that drawing occurs during the actual texturing process.The draw textured yarn differs from the conventionally textured yarn in that the direction of orientation differs,resulting in a basically different type of molecular structure and crystalline arrangement.In addition,the drawing process occurs under different conditions of heat depending upon the equipment used.An important measure in yarn processing is the uniformity of exposure that can be maintained from end to end.The consistency of thermal exposure during texturising is easy to control and draw textured yarns,therefore will exhibit more uniform thermal history,which will result in more uniform dye pick-up.
