Description of a second species of Joblingia Dybas & Wenzel, 1947 (Diptera: Streblidae).

A new species of Joblingia Dybas & Wenzel, 1947, collected on the bat Myotis ruber (E. Geoffroy) in Southern Brazil, is described, and the type-species, J. schmidti Dybas & Wenzel, 1947, redescribed. The diagnosis of the genus is amended. The external morphology and postgonites of both species are figured.
