The company is officially Danny Murphy Logging, but owner Danny Murphy, 57, is scarcely to be seen in the woods, and as far as he is concerned, it is Murphy and Sons. Danny spends his time driving the company truck, while his sons Ronnie, 30, and Daniel, 25, oversee operations in the woods. "They make it go," he says of his sons. "Anytime I buy something, it's put under Murphy and Sons Logging." Both boys joined the company immediately after finishing high school—Daniel in 2006 and Ronnie in 2001. "He retired me from the woods when he came on board," Danny says of Ronnie.
