While channel surfing the other night, I came across the beginning of a movie. While the title escaped me, a graphic appeared and said the setting was 1996. I laughed when I realized that this was an older film and 1996 was "set in the future." We're11 years past that—about to be a full dozen and fortunately for us, life isn't as grim and "futuristic" as portrayed. Two-thousand seven, Anno Domini, is about to wrap up. If you're like me, you wonder where the year went. It was a busy year, no doubt.Let's look back at a few issues that caught and held our attention. By the way, these are in no order of importance.
