The Indian FMCG sector is considered to be growing at 10% annually. Personal Care market, a sub-segment of the FMCG sector, is expected to grow at 19% CAGR over 2011-2015. The men's grooming is a new trend since men are now comfortable talking about their looks and now like to spend money on grooming. During 2010, companies quickly ramped up the introduction of herbal, traditional Ayurvedic and mineral ingredients in cosmetics and Ayurveda moved from being traditional to a modern format. The greatest impact was seen in hair care, where there has long been a fear of damage to the hair through using synthetic chemicals to colour it.
