How often do you smell a fragrance and think 'wow,that's really different'? Not very often I bet.And the fragrance industry is the first to agree.Nearly every speaker at the World Perfumery Congress in Cannes last month bemoaned the woeful lack of creativity in fragrance.It's not that people aren't capable of that kind of creativity.They clearly are.But there are simply too many restrictions and despite what people say,at the end of the day,with the occasional exception,nobody is prepared to take a risk.
