In early September,a banner spanning the width of a downtown Anchorage office building read:"Alaska Pipeline Now.It's Our Future."Most Canadians have given up on following the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline's molasses-slow proceedings.Not so with Alaskans.When it comes to their pipeline proposals,our neighbours to the north are passionately engaged.
