OCLC and SABINET forge closer relationships to serve South African libraries

SABBINET executives Gerhard Kemp, managing director, and Pierre Malan, manager, Information Technology, visited OCLC July 29-Aug. 1 to discuss future development of OCLC services inSouth Africa. The organization of SABINET is similar to OCLC It was founded in 1983 as a not-for-profit organization, and its mission is dedicated to improving the information infrastructure in southern Africa.
