Junex Inc. comes well-prepared. Rather than pay premium ratesand wait lengthy periods for often hard-to-get drilling rigs, the Quebec-based junior explorer-unlike most, if not all, of its competitors in eastern Canada-built its own to explore properties on Anticosti Island and in Quebec."We have a new rig; we just built it last fall," says the company's chief operating officer, Peter Dorrins. "We've only drilled one hole with it. What's nice about it is that it's got about a 2,000-metre [drilling] capacity, which is pretty good, and it's built according to the latest American Petroleum Institute specifications."
