A hearing has been scheduled on January 14, 2009, in the US Courts regarding the sale process of the assets of MPF Corp, which owns under-construction drillship/FPSO MPF-01. The sale process, managed by Fearnley Offshore and Clarksons Offshore, began after the firm filed for bankruptcy in September 2008. The hearing is to clarify certain bids that have been received so that the sales process can continue. The unit's hull has been completed and is at China's Cosco Dalian shipyard.
