The ranking of the rubber industry in 2007 This Case Study is the annual examination of the ranking of natural rubber (NR) and synthetic rubber (SR) in consumption and production. Tables 20-26 show the latest estimates of the ranking of those countries in different categories for 2007. The size in thousand metric tonnes and the share of the world total in each respective category are also shown in these tables. The detailed discussion of the situation in 2007 can be found in various sections in the rest of this report. Hence, the discussion here ill mainly concern the movements in the rankings, the sizes and shares in different categories.
