Born in Kashmir, to an Indian father and a Polish mother, my wife, the artist Gosha Nagashima-Soden, studied art in Japan, and lived there for 10 years before moving to Germany, where we now live, in Potsdam. She is totally dedicated to her art, and is collected and exhibited internationally. Last year, Brigitte Woman, one of Germany's top women's magazines, came to do a shoot of Gosha at our home and studio. Brigitte Woman has a policy of not using professional models in fashion features, and it was doing a series of articles where 'interesting' women were shown in their natural habitat, wearing the latest gear.
