Monochrome - Excellence in Greyscale is a joint project between Lund Gallery and Maggie Barnes, director of European Ceramics. The exhibition aims to present a carefully selected overview of work by those whose creative practice illustrates excellence. The collaboration was conceived some time ago when Debbie Loane, the owner of Lund Gallery, and Maggie Barnes met at one of the gallery's private views. The two quickly became aware that they shared an ambition to present work of the highest standard to an increasingly discerning, design-aware audience which they both believed exists in the north of England.
